GSML is one of the most efficient and rapidly growing company in the Sugar Industry.
Smt. Jyotsna Poddar, chairperson cum Managing Director, is in the overall management of the Company and is the driving force of the Company. Shri C.S. Nopany, Director, is actively involved in the affairs of the Company and assists the Managing Director in the overall management of the Company.
GSML was promoted as a public limited company in the year 1952 by the Birla Group. To begin with, a sugar mill was set up at Aira Estate in the State of Uttar Pradesh with a modest crushing capacity which has over the years been increased to 6500 tonnes of sugarcane per day. The main activity of GSML is manufacture of sugar and its by products. |
