| The Oudh Sugar Mills Limited Turns Into Black after losses for two consecutive years. |

The Oudh Sugar Mills Ltd. (OSML), belonging to the renowned K.K. Birla Group, announced its financial results for the year ended 30th June’09. OSML reported a net profit of Rs. 1917.38 lacs for the year 2008-09 compared to reported loss in last year, June 08. The company also reported gross revenue of Rs 58309.13 lacs this year.
“The company has seen a robust growth due to sustained demand and operational efficiencies. With the support of the Government, its initiative to encourage duty free import and plans to introduce a bonus on the statutory minimum support price, the sugar industry is upbeat about their performance this year”, said Mr C.S Nopany, Chairman Cum Managing Director, OSML
The Board of Directors of OSML at its meeting held on the 25th August 2009 took on record the following Audited Financial Results for the year ended 30th June, 2009. |

While top line of the Company grew by 64.74% the bottom line increased by 251.69% as compared to the last year.
